If you enjoy a good round of 'Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon,' then you'll definitely be a fan of Object Lessons, an upcoming podcast series that seeks to create a narrative of meaningful connections between people, places, and things through interviews, historical reenactments, and a lot of research.


For the design, I was asked to take cues from the aesthetic of The Chicagoan, a magazine that ran for 5 years during The Great Depression. After some initial talks and a round of sketching, I created a hand-lettered logotype and monogram that reference Raleway, one of my favorite typefaces.
